- Present menus, explain menu items, daily specials, and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards.
- Check guest satisfaction during the meal and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests.
- Prepare and maintain dining areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Process guest bills and handle payments accurately.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens and promotional offers.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the restaurant.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Report any guest complaints, incidents, or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Promote additional food and beverage items through suggestive selling where appropriate.
