Create refined Japanese cuisine in a private, ultra-luxury setting.
Seasons Collection is seeking a Sous Chef with a strong background in Japanese cuisine and experience in Michelin-starred or equivalent high-end kitchens to join our Niseko residence for the upcoming winter season.

The Role
As Sous Chef – Japanese Cuisine, you will be responsible for delivering refined, restaurant-quality dishes within a private residence setting.
Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will execute a high standard of cuisine while contributing your own expertise to create authentic, seasonal, and memorable dining experiences.
This role requires discipline, precision, and a deep respect for product and technique, along with the ability to perform consistently at a high level in a guest-focused environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Japanese-trained chef with a deep understanding of traditional techniques, ingredients, and culinary culture 
- Experience in Michelin-starred or equivalent high-end kitchens (in Japan or internationally) 
- Strong technical ability across Japanese cuisine (sushi, sashimi, hot kitchen or area of specialisation) 
- Fluency in Japanese language highly preferred 
- Good level of spoken English required
- Experience working with premium, seasonal ingredients 
- High level of discipline, consistency, and attention to detail 
- Professional, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic 
- Ability to adapt to a private residence environment and guest-focused service
