Vacancy: Independent Chef (Asian Cuisine & Sushi)
Location: I LOVE SUSHI Amsterdam Zuid-Oost
Employment: Full-time (38 hours/week)

About Us
I LOVE SUSHI is an Asian restaurant in Amsterdam specializing in fresh sushi and authentic Asian cuisine. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Independent cook to join our team.

Responsibilities?
* Prepare dishes independently according to our menu.
* Ensure compliance with HACCP hygiene and food safety regulations.
* Work closely with colleagues and support the team during busy periods.
* Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
* Supervise and guide kitchen assistants.
* Prepare ingredients and mise en place.
* Apply professional cooking techniques.
* Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements.
* Take responsibility for stock control and kitchen organization.

* Gross monthly salary between €2,650 and €3,250, depending on experience.

Requirements

* Able to work independently as well as in a team.
* Passionate, creative, and detail-oriented.
* Flexible and able to perform well under pressure.
* Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations.
* MBO Level 3 or equivalent vocational education.
* Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
* Experience in Asian cuisine and/or sushi preparation is an advantage.
